INGREDIENTS
4 slices of sourdough bread
butter to slather on the bread
1 cup prepared kimchi( I used @conscious_cooking Christine's recipe for kimchi)
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 slices fontina
Garlic sautéed swiss chard
2 garlic cloves, grated
1 bunch of swiss chard
1 Tbsp olive oil
Salt and Pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a medium saucepan, on medium heat, add in the oil, and the grated garlic into the oil, and let it heat up for 15 seconds. Add in the washed and finely chopped swiss chard and sauté. Add in the salt and pepper to taste. It will start wilting and be done in 3-4 minutes.
To assemble to sandwich: On one side of the sourdough bread, add in the cheddar cheese slices. Top with about 1/3 - 1/2 cup kimchi. Add about 1/4 cup sautéed swiss chard. Top with 2 slices of fontina. Top with the sourdough slice. Slather butter on the top, and with the buttered size down, put it on a heated Panini grill. Slather the other side with butter and make your Panini sandwich.
